Welcome to "The Other Side of Life." This site is built and dedicated to publishing our findings into our continuing research and investigation into the world of the paranormal.
TOSOL was "officially" formed in 2005 by a small group of researchers. After years of independently seeking answers to the paranormal, we decided to form The Other Side of Life to continue our search as an organized paranormal research group. We are a small, Michigan based non for profit investigation team that simply seeks to answer the unknown questions of this world, and beyond that are currently considered unexplained.
We do not claim to be all knowing experts, but what sets us apart from many other paranormal investigation groups is our dedication to detail. As one of our slogans proclaims "We're Dead Serious." Stated in part as a play on words, but should be taken as an honest proclamation. We are serious investigators, who only wish to study and decipher the claims of the paranormal.
Whether it be Ghosts, Haunting's, UFO sightings, or Crypto Zoological creatures we will investigate it...More

This month we discussed the happenings in and around TOSOL as well as held an open discussion with the audience about conspiracy theories such as the Moon Landing, 9/11 and Star Children! The conversation about the moon landing and 9/11 very interesting.

TOSOL February Paranormal Webcast Available Now
This month Jay and Dan discussed our latest investigation in detail. They offered up what evidence we have collected from that investigation as well as talked about our experiment using the Mini Box and what results we may have collected during the test. The guys also previewed a very interesting case the group will be conducting in March.

Snippet From Previous Live Investigations & Evidence Captured at Them!
The Other Side of Life is gearing up for our latest investigation on March 7th, 2009. The group was called in to look into the claims of a client that contacted us about the events that appear to be happening in their home. The client shared stories of her children seeing a man in their basement and also of appearing to them in their beds at night. They also claimed that they had experienced hearing dresser drawers opening and closing in the kids room. We have completed this investigation, reviewed all of the footage and reported back to our client; we will post our findings on the website after our latest webcast has aired.
Past Investigations
February 20th & 21st - We conducted an investigation at an undisclosed location in Michigan. The client reports seeing a full bodied apparition, of hearing voices when no one else is in the building and one report claims a person was so disturbed that she insisted on leaving on the spot, minutes after she and her husband had arrived. This investigation was offered live on the internet for all of you to join in. We had some good feedback from the audience on both nights. Although we had a couple of personal experiences, we did not capture anything on video to substantiate the claims. We did however capture an odd piece of audio. We will post that clip on the site soon. Grand Blanc Investigation - On Saturday, January 10th we held an investigation at a clients home located in the Grand Blanc Michigan area. Unfortunately we did not have any personal experiences that evening. We have sifted through all of the footage from the investigation and did not capture anything, but we are making a small video to describe how we possibly could have debunked the clients claims. Alger Investigation - We did not have any personal experiences during our investigation at a bar in Northern Michigan, but we did capture a good EVP during the investigation. We did not capture any video or digital photographic footage to back up our audio findings, but we will be playing the audio we captured for the owners. Funeral Home Investigation - We have posted our findings video from an investigation at a funeral home. We didn't gather a ton of first class evidence at that location, but we did have some interesting interaction with something or someone while using the K2 meter. To view that video click here.

News On Our Latest Investigations
We have been very busy over the past few months with both personal and TOSOL business and with this year just beginning, we are gearing up for a busy 2009. In 2008 we completed our yearly look at The Farms, our findings are posted by following this link. We investigated a home in Swartz Creek, Michigan in March and a home in Fenton, Michigan in May. We investigated a funeral home as well as another area home. We also investigated a restaurant/bar in Northern Michigan, and much more.
We have a few investigations planned for the first of the year that we are looking forward to. One is a private home in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Another case is also a home in the Flint area. This case we are really looking forward to; it seem that this home is very active with all facets of paranormal activity. The homeowner claims include full body apparitions, apparent poltergeist activity and localized colds spots in certain parts of the home, so check back for our findings!
We are always looking to obtain more possible investigations. We have investigated many homes and businesses, including a haunted theater, a former Civilian Conservation Corps Camp from World War II, a very old cemetery, and a heating and cooling business in a 100 year old building, and much more. Please don't hesitate to frequently check back on our pages. We have gathered some intriguing evidence from these investigations. This and all of the evidence we gather is published here for you to see. We post most of our evidence as soon as we have shown it to our client, and get their reaction.

We are not Psychics, and although we don't discount that field of the paranormal, we go into our cases with a detectives mindset. If that means bringing in a psychic or demonologist, we will put you in contact with the right people and bring them into the investigation if that is what you wish.
